• A demo of the song was recorded in late 2001/early 2002.
• The song title surfaced (as "Best Friend") in an unofficial/unreleased Fastball album called 'Sleshinger' found under the Fastball discography on the MOG website in December 2007. The title suggests that the tracks listed on the album are part or all of those the band recorded with Fountains of Wayne's Adam Schlesinger at his New York studio in late 2001/early 2002.
